So what is AltisLife?... It is a serious role-play community, if you are looking for a shoot on site war server this is not the right place for you, why not try out our King of the Hill server? So in AltisLife there are 5 main factions. Police, Civilians, Medics, Bounty-Hunters, and rebels. (For more information on these look bellow at the factions section.)
When you first log in to our fine server you will be presented with a spawn-in screen asking you to select the City you wish to spawn in. Once connected fully you will receive £100,000 to get you started!

Before joining our AltisLife servers all players are advised to read the server rules. This can be done by clicking the link Here.
Reading the server rules means you wont get in trouble for doing something you shouldn't of done which could result in a ban from our community (If it's serious enough), which you don't want!

On AltisLife, licences play a huge part of your experience. Licences allow you to buy/ sell things from the NPC citizens around Altis. Most of the NPC's require that you have a licence to use their services.
Here are a list of the licences currently on our server, where you can get them and what they are!

Altis Police Constabulary
The Altis Police are very hard-working individuals dedicated to keeping the streets safe and upholding the law. In order to join the whitelisted police force slots you must fill out the Police Application Here. Please note, the Altis Police Constabulary is not for the feint hearted, it will require a lot of patience and self discipline to do the job right. Do not join the Police if you cannot put in the hours or get annoyed very easily, this job is not as easy as it looks.
Civilians
Civilians are honest hard-working citizens. They mind their own business and work for their money to bring back to their families. They may buy/ sell different materials e.g. Diamond, Salt, Iron etc, or complete delivery missions. When you first join our community this is what you are by default.
Medics
The NHS will attend if you have been injured and may even stop you for medical screening at there checkpoints sometimes. The NHS is clearly full of people who have watched too much casualty or holby city with a twist of an obession with sexually transmitted infection checkups.... keeping Altis safe and healthy I guess! If you want to apply to be a Medic for the NHS click Here!
Bounty-Hunters
The role of a bounty hunter is to tackle crime, kind of like a cop! Bounty hunters have access to a bounty list which shows everyone that has committed a crime. Bounty hunters are able to receive a pay-off on the last location of a suspect from the Neighbourhood Watch Comity.
Rebels
The rebel force will cause as much Havoc on the streets of Altis as possible. They do not care about the law and think they run the streets! Rebels usually don't make a living the way Civilians do, they usually result in using a little less-legal way of making money, but this comes with a benefit as they usually make more money.

Player Keys
- Y :- This key opens the Player Menu, a.k.a your Phone, Settings, Money Etc.
- M :- This key opens your map (if you have one.)
- 1 :- This key allows you to perform animations e.g. Ninja dance.
- SHIFT + H :- This key allows you to Holster your firearm and hide it from view.
- SHIFT + J :- This key allows you to surrender (Put your hands on your head.)
- SHIFT + G :- This key allows you to knock other players out (Gun required.)
- SHIFT + R :- This key allows you to restrain other players with a zip-tie.
- LEFT WINDOWS KEY :- This key allows you to pick up money or items off the floor, also used for gathering drugs and interacting with restrained players.
Vehicle Keys
- U :- This key allows you to lock/unlock your vehicle within 20 Meters.
- T :- This key allows you to open your trunk/ boot to store items in. e.g. Iron ore, salt etc!
- L :- This key allows you to turn on your vehicles headlights.
- LEFT WINDOWS KEY :- This key allows you to repair/ interact with your vehicle.
Police Keys
- H :- This key allows you to blast your emergency air horn.
- SHIFT + L :- This key allows you to turn on your blue lights.
- SHIFT + F :- This key allows you to turn on your sirens.
- SHIFT + R :- Allows you to restrain someone.
- LEFT WINDOWS KEY :- This key allows you to Impound, Search, Check registration, repair etc.

Please note this guide has been created in an attempt to help new players get there bearings. Any information provided is subject to change by the server. This guide is NOT to be used as a reference as to what is and isn’t allowed on the server. See the official rules on the forums!
