Good afternoon everyone,

This Sunday at 4pm, will be a compulsory meeting for all members of the NHS. Failure to attend this meeting will result in dismissal.

All members are require to attend, to discuss recent events, and changes going forward. Those not in attendance, will be deemed in-active and terminated. If you have a legitimate reason as to why you cannot attend, use the Admin Request Form found in your handbook and submit a request in the category "Change Medic's Activity Status (Authorisation Code Required)". The Authorisation code will be "Meeting". Change the status to "Active".

This is the only recognised form of absence. And will require a valid reason. You all have nearly a week to make arrangements. Do so.

There is nothing to worry about, and no-one is trouble. But I think we need to do this. I will be speaking to the admins before this meeting in order to brief you all.

In case anyone is not aware, I work during the week, and am online from 6:45pm +/- until late. If anyone is in need of me, that cannot be resolved by the Admin Request Form, that's when I'm back. Alternitively, there are Medical Training Officers (MTO's), GP Thanatos (Head of Development) and GP Lionel (Head of Recruitment) around at various times.

These senior staff should be able to resolve most issues on a day-to-day basis. So please use them. They like being used... They like helping you guys.

I look forward to seeing you all, and expect a grand turnout.

If an Admin could move this to the announcement section I'd be very grateful.

Moved per request.

I will definately be there unless something last minute comes up which is very unlikely. I have been wanted to be part of a discussion / listen to one about recent events.

Hoping I'll be there. Unfortunately Sunday is that day i go back to university, and it may take me a while to get the new WiFi password ....

Can I just stress to everyone that the meeting is at 4 PM and NOT 7PM

I literally JUST found out I was whitelisted...no one told me...a friend happened to notice it...My interview was a couple weeks ago, so I was starting to wonder, lol.  :)

I'm sorry but this is wrong.

People should not have to work this around their weekend. People are busy all week and need to relax on the weekend. I will not be letting a meeting for a game run my weekend. This is way to strict and in all honesty, I hate it. It is a game, it is not really important. Just to add, in RP terms getting fired for not attending a meeting would be unfair dismissal. You would have to tell people, yes, but you could do so afterwards. You would not be insta fired.

If you have a legitimate reason as to why you cannot attend, use the Admin Request Form found in your handbook and submit a request in the category "Change Medic's Activity Status (Authorisation Code Required)". The Authorisation code will be "Meeting". Change the status to "Active".
This is okay, you have given us a way to tell you if we cannot attend, but what if, like me, you do not know what you will be doing on the day as you don't plan things like that? I will listen to it on Soundcloud if I do not attend, what's the worst that can happen.

I have a busy week of important things in real life. This is a game, it's not important at all, it's supposed to be fun and in all honesty, the NHS higher ranking officers are stopping it being fun for me, for this reason.

This is the first compulsory meeting the NHS have ever have. For less than 60min of your weekend.

Yes this is a game

Yes we want everyone to have fun

But to make sure everyone has fun, rules and procedures have to be created and followed.

This is a serious roleplay community. Part of that RP is the chain of command and organisation. If you are unwilling to set aside 60min of your weekend, for the reason of "you're busy", then I'm sorry but you're out. Everyone has had nearly 7 days to make arrangements for this. Out of 365 days, I'm asking you to reserve 60min of an expected 360 or more, of ONE of those days.

Anyone absent from the meeting, who has not submitted an admin request form as stated above, without sufficient explanation or reasoning, will find their employment terminated.

If anyone has any issues, or wants to discuss this matter, please see me in Teamspeak after 7pm. Alternatively, speak to a Senior NHS Member.

You don't need to be sorry, or kick me out because as of now, I quit.
