How do I put a picture on a post

I'm embarrassed to ask this because I have been here for a long time but I need to ask you guys something. How do I post a picture on a forum. Can somebody tell me how they would do it

To post a picture, click the icon in the toolbar that looks like a picture and insert the url.

you need to use the link for the actual picture nothing else, and example would be

http://www.altislife.co.uk/public/style_images/7_altislife2.png

the URL needs to end in an image format; PNG, JPEG, GIF, E.T.C.

You just use the same process for any image, an easy way to get the URL is to right click on the picture and you'll see "View Image" from there you can get the link for pretty much anything.

For youtube paste the link from internet browser.


For images, upload them to something like http://imgur.comand paste the "Direct Link" in the image link box.

this works for gifs and pictures, not sure about videos.

Also try tinypic for pictures you have taken and do the same thing with the URL
