Hitting Y on vehicles

Accessing the inside storage hitting Y is hit and miss. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't. With motorbikes or aircraft, it worked fine for a bit but after lots of attempts over a number of hours nothing came up. It's very frustrating, maybe there is a technique as to how it works, like if the player crosshairs are looking at a certain part of the vehicle? Maybe it could be fixed by having a wider area around the vehicle where it gets activated.

I believe Stealthee mentioned a new thing to be added with core to help with car inventories for now run around spamming Y

Got a fix for now as a mechanic can search boot and that brings up inside inventory.
