What is Altis Life?
Altis Life is a role-play modification for Arma 3 based in 2030 on the scenic island of Altis which is based on the real life island of Lemnos which is part of Greece, However the main city of Kavala in the game in real life is called Myrina which the main port has a ferry connection with Kavala on the Greek mainland, If you are to look on Google maps the in game map and buildings are identical to the real island.
I am unsure why Kavala on the island of Altis instead of Myrina I have emailed Bohemia but so far no response.(If anyone knows the answer to this please get in touch)
The game is what you and others around you make it… it seriously is just like real life!
We at AltisLife.co.uk are serious role-play community before you jump on think how you are going to play the game and what type of character your going to be, its also nice to have a bit of a backstory.
You can start your own company, do delivery jobs, do illegal things, join the police or become a rebel or just hang about and party or interact with other civilians the choice is yours!
How do I download Altis Life?
This is the most commonly asked question for new players who want to play Altis Life - If you have Arma 3 then nothing more is needed!
The modification is server side so when you join our server it will download a small map file to your PC in order to play the game.
If you do not have Arma 3 then you can get a code at the best price sent you in within minutes from
If you’re ready to get started then go to multiplayer and then go into filter and type "AltisLife.co.uk" and join our server and get ready for the best online gaming experience to date!
Once you are in the lobby please on the left hand side select Civilian and then click an empty slot then press continue, You are now joining the game.
Basic Controls
If your not only new to altis but new to the arma series then here are some basic controls that are going to be something youll need to learn.
Getting Started - Your first few hours in Altis
To start with please announce your arrival to Altis in the arrival terminal on the forums (Click Here) so we can greet you to our wonderful island, its also a great way to meet people who are willing to hang out in-game.
Then in game please spawn, you will notice that to start with on the server to get you started you will have 100k in your account, This is your life savings that you brought to the island to start your new life, Spend wisely! Start up a business
So that we do not have any citizen’s starve to death the government of Altis UK provides a payment of $2000 every 15 min
