Application for the police denied because of "lack of experience"

Me and my friend (Frampi) applied for the police over a week ago, we got a reply back basically saying that we had a lack of experience, I questioned what the person said and he replied saying "sorry, lack of experience on the server" I have searched throughout the entire website looking for something that will say that you require a set number of hours to play as a police officer and I have found literally nothing describing that.

Both me and Frampi have played countless of hours playing Altis life on other servers, we've played as police countless times too, we understand all of the rules and RP procedures. We have also played on Arma 2 life (Takistan) and once again, countless hours and countless times played as the police.

We're both working men, we have lives outside of gaming and playing as a civilian is very time consuming to actually have fun with unless you're running around trolling people which is generally frowned upon and gets boring rather quickly. Even then once you start getting somewhere when you've played for so long, you may buy a helicopter and someone RDM's you (I understand that you could get comp but on a previous server someone VDM Frampi in a helicopter and the person turned out to be a "friend of the admin" and nothing happened, we didn't get comp and the person did not get banned, so I've basically lost trust in the comp scheme) I have maybe 3 whole days a week to game whilst my friend has possibly only 1 or 2 every other week.

I doubt this post is going to help either of us in any way but it's worth a shot, we just want to play as the police and have fun & enjoy the RP aspect of Altis life. If you want to check our hours played on ArmA 2 and ArmA 3, message me and I'll send you my steam profile link along with Frampi's.

This is one for someone from the Police to answer.

I do however think you do need to spend time on this server, Roleplay elsewhere is of very poor standard compared to AltisLife.co.uk we also are heavily custom coded so i feel a few days/weeks before jumping straight to the police is usually the best thing to do.

From what i know the Police look at applications and the effort put into them before coming to a decision, they are after the best and best only and I would say about 60-70% of applications currently get denied.

Me and Frampi are both sitting in the recruitment room for the police now waiting for an officer to come down to us.

I've already played on the server & it seems just like every other server, the only thing that I've noticed that is different is the new bounty hunter thing which is a nice touch.

Well it seems the one person that read ours clearly had no idea what he was doing, how could he come to an assumption that we had a lack of experience without checking the data from the server? Not to mention he has recently turned 17 and clearly doesn't understand that people have lives outside of gaming and we don't sit there all day, everyday playing games to try and achieve a life within a game, like I said, myself and Frampi just want to enjoy the RP that the server offers on the police force, we've had plenty of experience and I know that we're the "best" candidates for police. We run your server 40+ FPS (max settings) which is a lot considering there is a lot of things to load into the server, we understand the rules & game play aspect along with the RP so I don't understand why we got denied because the excuse of "lack of experience" doesn't seem to be valid like I've pointed out previously.

Where you say, "...it seems like every other server..." This shows you have not been nearly as active of which is required by any of the white listed groups.

I mean the aspect of how the game plays and how the RP works, I'm not talking about the white listed groups. If you really want to talk about white listed groups then we can, I understand that you have to be white listed to join the Police, NHS & the UNMC. I haven't been active on this server for too long but from what I have played it seems like every other server that I've played on.

We want people to play the server before joining the police because the police have a very strict set of laws, both unwritten and written, and a lot of the time they seem really appealing at first, but then feel bad for not playing as rebels and then they quit, become rebels, and end up getting banned because of the pent up anger from being abused as an officer every day. we want officers who have tried both sides, and who can calmly pick a side. as a police officer you will need to be somewhat active. it is very demoralising for police trainers such as myself to invest so much time and effort into training people, to have them say "OH i want to be a rebel instead".

When you can show us you have played on THIS SERVER for a significant amount of time such as two or more weeks i will allow you to apply. If however you still feel like i am being harsh, speak to me on teamspeak and i will evaluate your eligability.

You've just got to get more experience to show that you are worthy of the high role play that the police force offers.

Frampi and Ludi have been allowed to apply to the police.

That is where you are wrong, the RP here can be very serious and strong, I do not feel you have played on the server that much if thats your view.
