Police Force

The Police Force on this server are completely ridiculous..

First of all, there was a police man just camping @ drug dealer.. if he saw anyone go to the building, within 20 seconds he was there, arresting them, scrapping there vehicle and then waiting for the next..

Second, they DO NOT know how to roleplay - I attempted to bribe the police man after he camped drug dealer, and he said his bribe is 3 million... I pleaded with the officer, as yes I did have drugs on me.. but he already scrapped my truck, getting rid of literally 100% that I own, and he just didn't care.

It's people like this, and police men that I have come across on the server before that ruin the game/server/experience for EVERYONE.

For instance, previously on the same server, I went to Kavala in heli.. a random bounty hunter decided to come up to my helicopter, and force me to stop the engine and get out within 3 seconds.. I could not do this as I was knew to flying a helicopter and didn't know how to control engine/get out as fast as normal.. He proceeded to shoot me and kill me.. at that point a medic came to revive me.. but that's not all.. a police man was ready to restrain me as I was revived by the medic and then arrested ME, sent me to jail etc.. while the RDM'ing bounty hunter was stood there.

I've just had it with these stupid idiots ruining the game - so you've lost a player on your server.. I'm guessing I'm not the only one, and if you continue to let people like this be the police force on the server then I'm guessing that you will lose a LOT of your player base.

I would recommend a legal business route. You dont have to do drugs, and what's wrong with a policeman that has a 3mill level of integrity.

I have never seen the police Camp the dealer, i have seen them there quite often just due to the simple fact that its a busy area and allot of crime. but drive past come back 5 min later, they will likely be gone due to murder just down the road.

a bounty hunter shot you, the police attended the scene and you were most likely arrested for the safety of the people around you as you seem to be quite the little criminal

each point you make, you break the law, and then complain when the law catches up with you.

If you cant do the time don't do the crime.

A bounty hunter RDM'd me, shot me because I couldn't exit my chopper within 3 seconds.. You call that RP? I got arrested and then jailed for 40 minutes because I got shot by the bounty hunter. Is that RP?

Do police have the right to stop/arrest and search people out of the blue? Because I hadn't actually sold any drugs. (Legit Question).

One small point is "You were most likely" isn't actually the case.. It's just bad RP'ers.. and you have come to defend them.

If police AREN'T able to arrest/search people without proof of anything happening (intel from drug dealer.. a dead body found), then I was stopped, arrested and searched for nothing, therefore the police officer broke the rules.

The bounty hunter broke the rules by not RP'ing in a sensible/correct way. He demanded I got out of my chopper, counted down from 3 and then shot me (because I was panicking, I couldn't get out in time.)

All of these cases are absolutely terrible cases of RP. It really frustrates me that people of this calibre are made to be police officers (not all are like this).

Hi Strickend, Sorry if i came across as somewhat dismissive.

We get allot of people who complain when they get legitimately caught, The police have a very very hard job to do.

I don't think this response will get you very far, and yes i have had my own complaints about the police in the past, and I can assure you if you have evidence of a legitimate complaint, the police force will take it seriously and do something about it.

Please record your gameplay so that if something potentially bad happens you can prove it. as i said too many people file illegitimate reports without evidence.

If you have a Nvidia card 6 series plus have a look into Shadowplay (ATI also have a recording method but you will need to google the name sorry)

Well I was the one that caught you; firstly I came from the garages where I had been dealing with something else, was heading back to HQ and you were parked out of the front of the drug dealer; now I have been a rebel too, but I was never so brave as to park my fully loaded truck outside the drug dealer, always hidden somewhere at the back. 

Now I take personal offence of accusing me of not RPing, now why would a relatively high ranking officer risk their well paid job for a 300k bribe that you offered, now I told you an alternate price that might tempt me to take to but you laughed at the mere thought of it. You admitted to be to have a small amount on you for personal use, I searched you and found your pockets over flowing with the stuff so with such a suspicious amount on your person I moved on outside to your vehicle, which was again full with the stuff. As any officer will tell you any vehicle used in a crime will be crushed.

I don't see what you're crying about, you made no effort to conceal your actions and combat logged when it didn't go your way, if you would have parked out of sight, rather than on the main road of kavala I probably wouldn't have found you, and even if I did, I would then have no idea where your truck was parked. In the peak of my rebel days I had 3 orca's crushed in less than 2 hours for drug offences, its the risk of doing it, if you don't accept the risk then you shouldn't be doing it. Just to add to all this you picked the worst time to do it as there has been an increased police presence in kavala due to the free arma 3 weekend.

I told you it was a known drug trafficking route and when questioned before being searched you told me you had an amount of drugs on your for personal use. I'm pretty sure if I was stopped by the police and I admitted having drugs on me that they would search me to retrieve them, I cant remember the last time I watched one of these shows that follow cops around where they stopped someone who admitted having drugs on them and they just went "Oh yeah, that'll be alright just keep hold of your drugs, you might need them later"

Firstly, Welcome to the server, it's serious roleplay, so we're seriously not going to care if you've just lost everything by doing a drug run. It's you're own fault for just wanting drug money instead of roleplaying, making friends, doing a few legal avenues of work, etc..

Who wanted the bribe, PM me name please.. and not accepting the bribe is roleplay.

This weekend the police force is very busy, so many trolls and we still have to keep track on the real players....

so good luck elsewhere if you leave.

So annoying, new players coming on for a few days and believe they know everything, start flaming against the cops who obviously wronged them, because they didn't roleplay.. Dude.. This is a harsh life and a harsh island. Deal with it. We've all been broke or nearly broke at least once. If someone RDM's you, you report it. You don't get mad at the police force for doing their job. Even if you were shot out of the sky, if you had a bounty on you, they will arrest you.
