NHS Information Update

Walt

Inspector Walt of the FPD
Hello everyone.

As most of you know, the NHS has been going through a lot of changes ensuring it can provide a quality service to the rest of the AltisLife.co.uk community. During this time however, the response time for applications has been at a snails pace, and for that I apologise.

I can now confirm I have read through all current applications dating from 17/08 to 31/08 and have responded to those who I believe went above and beyond with their applications. Although the general quality of applications was very high, those who have been chosen managed to put in just that little bit more.

So, what does this mean for the NHS and for you?.

As part of the recruitment process, all applicants who are contacted have 7 days in which to contact myself on TS, should they fail to do so, their spot will become open, and I will review all current and new applications to fill that spot.

It is important to note that the recruitment process is also currently being modified in an attempt to ensure all who join can provide efficient and fun support to those who require it.

An age limit - 16+

After playing Medic for quite a while, it has become apparent that if people are not killed, they have an issue regarding their Penis, whether it be discharging puss, torn off, inflamed and all the rest of it. While I personally don't mind and am more than happy to roleplay these situations for as long as needed, I feel that an age limit must be imposed so that future generations are not mentally scarred for life. The age limit will be set at 16 and will likely stay at that unless community feedback dictates otherwise.

I would like to stress to all those wanting to become part of the NHS. It will likely happen. The problem is, the role is currently quite popular but there are few slots available (for good reason) and because of this, I feel it best to recruit in "waves" and then monitor the activity to see if further recruitment needs to happen.

Problem | Ideas | Reports | Feedback

The NHS is my baby at the moment, and I want to make sure that as a community we can all help create something to all be proud of...especially in our hour of need. So, I would like to make it known, if you have any problem with an NHS member, please come to me with it, no matter how major or minor and I will do my best to sort it out for you. Have an idea or some feedback on the service you're receiving?. Please bring it to myself or another NHS member and we will happily bring it up in a meeting, giving you full credit and maybe even a lollipop.

So thanks for reading. I apologise for this wall of text. But I felt it was important for me to try and be as transparent as possible with the NHS and try relay everything that's happening back to the community.

Thanks,

Dr. SaltyWalty

So if you don't answer to an application, it means the application don't qualify?

At the moment yes. The way the recruiting is being done, I felt it wasn't right to just decline everyone else, as it all depends on how people play medic as to how much recruiting needs doing.

If people feel they want to update their application, or provide a new one. Please contact me and I'll be happy to provide the layout and you can send it again in a PM or over TS.

Hopefully I didnt scar any medic for his/her life after my weird EMS calls ;)
