Cops

Good evening.

Have played on this server for a while now and tonight was crazy. At one point there were 20+ police on (someone else counted). That's over 1 in 4.

When this many are on, they begin to run a muck and start to avoid playing by the rules.

-I was vdm'd.

- mates and I were running drugs into kavala and I was distracting cops with an Ifrit. About 4 cars gave chase and just attempted to ram me. Then I was head on with a police truck. I tried to avoid it but it made a deliberate b line to aim at me and crashed into me at high speed. IMO to make me blow up. At no point would that ever happen. What sort of role play is that.

It appeared to me and mates that the cop(s) involved just thought "blow him up, he won't be able to come back with new life rule".

I and another 5/6 on teamspeak agreed that the cops involved (they know who they are) ruined tonight's gameplay. Camping outside church also sucks!

One rule for one person, another for another. It's not on.

And another thing, the friggin tazer.....

In my opinion there should be a limit to the amount of officers allowed on at one time.

Not sure if I have ever personally ran into you 'in game' but you say you have been here a while now. If that is true you will know that 9/10 whether it be Kavala, Athira or any other major city Ifrits are troll mobiles, they are essentially non-weaponised tanks. Now currently unless there are members of the TFU online and available the police don't really have an answer to these devil trucks. It is at this point any sense of role play goes out of the window. a) because cops rush to the quickest conclusion in order to keep the greater majority safe from the huge armoured vehicle rampaging through town which may potentially lead to some VDM also. B) you state the fact of 'where is the role play?' Now I put this to you, if you genuinely do want an excellent role play scenario (which I strongly believe you do) then I suggest never even have the though of an ifrit in your mind to begin let alone go along and use one. They are disgusting viscous creatures placed onto this earth to do one thing and one thing only, cause problems for EVERYONE. We go back to the comment of 'where is the role play?' But you need you ask yourself how do you expect the cops to roleplay with the guy in the massive armoured truck driving around like a lunatic with them having very limited ways to stop you? And on the comment of the tasers this is a continuous argument brought up roughly 4/5 times every single blood week, at the end of the day yes we cops know the taser is OP and yes we shouldn't abuse that fact which most cops won't anyway, but from this particular instance you have to understand the cops could have misconceived that you were infact a troll with an ifrit.

Now to round this all off I just want to say this is no personally attack on you nor is it a anger induced dig at all the rebels, I just want to say something which our beloved CSI Mitch said the other day on a different cop related complaint post. We; the Altis Police Constabulary personally invite all those who think the cops have an easy time dealing with everything and that we are all self righteous non logical thinking pig nosed buffoons to have one full day as a cop in the centre of a troll filled, rebel infested, civ crammed city and if they can handle it like it was nothing' then we will all bow down to you like the Demi-god you are and sacrifice 17 lambs for your cause.
