Purge

I have thought about implementing a kind of monthly/ weekly purge in the server like the one of the movie "The Purge". For those who have not seen the film, I will explain you what the purge is. It is period of time (in the film it is from 7 PM to 7 AM) when people are allowed to commit any type of crime. Emergency services are not available during this time. In the film, this yearly event reduces the amount of crimes a lot and in the server, it would add a lot of rp possibilities. What do you think about this idea?

I've seen the film. Surely we need lockable housing for this. I'd stock up on beans and tea, then hide inside my fortress and wait the night out with a vermin pointed at the door. Ethan Hawke ain't got shit on me.

this is the best suggestion I heard about since I joined this server. finally we will be able to rob/take people hostage without any cop problems.

Only if cops could go postal for the event too.

well if it does go through, kavala would still be the same anyways. Constant purge there lol, they should have 30ft reinforced walls around that city and let them purge them selfs.If not send the alits goverment to completely nuke the city just like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwSIDaXMv2U

I really like this idea but it will take alot of time away from the admins at the start and at the end of the event as people will be 'unaware' of times. I also think this would be fun for maybe an hour or so because when you die you have had it they will be campers at all gun shops etc.

An in-game day ain't too long. But I will either be offline, or hiding in Kavala castle as I don't see any RP in this. Would just be like playing DayZ. If housing was implemented, I'd be up for it. I can see a house party during the purge being good fun for the roleplay aspect but deathmatching/chaos on the streets, not so much.

If you want a purge go play wasteland. Although this idea may seem fun it poses no roleplay aspect, there would be more new life rule loopholes than a bowl of Cheerios. There would be so many campers around vehicle garages and the likes it would digress into a disgusting hellhole within the first 10 minutes. In all honesty I hope this doesn't get implanted and if it did I can already see the 'he killed me before/after the purge, RDM!!!!' reports turning up in the masses.

I am not for this idea. It does sound good from the start but once that can of worms of people running around killing each other with no RP is opened it will be hard to stop. If you want to purge go to the redzone and have at it. If others would like to take part that is the place to do it. 

Brilliant idea, i've seen the film, it's an amazing movie. 

We already got enough rdm and vdm in my opinion. Bring up ideas to increase the roleplay, that's what's lacking most. 

Yeah im not up for this either... if you want purge action? join server 2 in the mornings and try to enter and leave kavala in one piece...

This purge idea is awesome!

The purge sound like as good an idea as taking a bath with a toaster that has been pissed on by a monkey with a stroke, while you are simultaneously licking a plug socket.

But seriously it just removes all attempts of RP.
