Monthly Event (Free For All)

 
Hey guys, [AG] are trying to organise a monthly event for the community which will basically involve a massive free for all on Rape Island! [AG] did host an event like this last month but it was a spare of the moment thing and wasn't as well organised as we had hoped all though it was good fun! So we are now reaching out to everyone now for ideas of how we could improve this. it will be hosted on either Friday or Saturday around 21:00 GMT on server 2. A topic will be made on Wednesday of the last week weekend of the month with the information needed to participate and prizes will be revealed (Will vary from month to month).
 
We are also going to be looking for sponsors to help with prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as 1st place will be 1 month donator + CASH!
 
We are open to all ideas/suggestions so please feel free to PM me! Everyone will be welcome and taxi's will be offered to Rape Island (Don't forget to tip the pilot, he will have just passed his test but the best pilot in Altis!)

A good suggestion would be take everyone's guns whether it be a pistol or zafir and hide them

All around the island then drop people of by Mohawk (parachuting in)

I liked the idea of making it a proper hunger game style like that but the only thing is the island is rather large so could take forever to find weapons etc

I love the idea, to be earnest.

People will get some anger out in a fun way, and we will maybe see a decrease in RDM. (hopefully)

Find a smaller island e.g. ask Wilco if you can barrow his island for these event, it has some nice terrain, plus a house or to.

And it is a okay close combat island

Or use the old "bank-island", but its pretty open.

Ill have a fly about scout some areas and see what i can come up with, yeah will be a good way to release some anger and as you say hopefully stop RDM between rival gangs.

One way to stop people from being campers could be by adding some kind of a point system, so you actually get points for killing people. This would actually give people a reason to come out of their camping spots and go for kills, since they can win on kills instead of being the last man standing. It could be like a 30 minute event or something like that, if the time expires and there's more than 2 people left - The guy with the most points simply wins.

I know that this might ruin the idea of last man standing, but after the last event I think that something has to be done about all the camping.

And I'll definitely be there again!

Yeah I see your point Lakotiz we can try to keep a tally of kills and 45min time limit maybe? So if they is more then 1 guy left after 45mins the winner will be the guy with most kills. Also is it a good idea to make sure all players drop radios before entering the island to give the noobs a chance from gangs ambushing? what do we all think?

Okay had some people chucking ideas at me;

1) All radios should be dropped before coming to the island (stop people working together and allowing solo players a chance)

2) No one is to stream during the event so no one is going to get stream sniped

Let me know what you think guys as Wednesday is approaching and i want to hopefully get it in before the end of the month!

Whatever happens, I will definitely be turning up for this. Hopefully a good turnout will come from my gang in this event and in this event I hope gang hostilities will be forgotten.

Everyone is welcome and no one will be left out bring [RAC] along hopefully ill be playing so i know alot of you guys will want find me ^_^
