It has been a very interesting last month for us, so now it is time for us to release our August Newsletter!
[SIZE=18.0pt]“Altis Life UK RP” Framework[/SIZE]
We have decided to give the framework its own name in order to avoid confusion with Tonics Altis Life. We have given it the name “Altis Life UK RP” Framework as it will most definitely be used on maps other than just Altis, yet that is something to look forward to in the future.
Our progress on the framework is complete, and we are now outfitting it with features. With this, we are pleased to disclose that ALUK will be implementing a multitude of new features and improvements to the current wide range of features that we have.
In order to ensure that we can maintain a very constant stream of features, we have outfitted our framework with a lot of “helper functions”. These “helper functions” will allow us to create new and exciting features and enhance your gameplay with a faster development process than ever before!
Overall, we would say that progress on the framework is going along greatly, and better than planned with new ideas pouring in daily.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working with our servers’ firewalls to ensure we provide the best protection to our systems against DDOS Attacks, and keep you playing longer.
Unfortunately, as we have been combatting our own DDOS issues, we have been accused of doing this act to other servers. As a part of this, we will be making this statement for any trouble in regards to such attacks.
“Altis Life UK or any of its admins, do not condone, support or permit any DDOS attacks”.

Our first 50% discount event from reaching the donation target in July has been received with fantastic response from the community!
Over the last 3 days, an amazing 600+ new vehicles have been purchased! (Surprisingly only 20 of those are quadbikes).
Rebels have also been enjoying the discount with a return of Ifrits to the streets of Altis, and interesting encounters between Police and Criminals in regards to this.
Air Traffic Control has been on overdrive with 20% of the vehicles being those that ignore the roads, and head to the skies. I’m sure we’ve all seen an increase in jets lately…
[SIZE=18.0pt]Servers Full![/SIZE]
A massive thank-you to the whole community whom have been packing out our servers so that they are full! With this in mind, we are exploring ways to make our overall server player count larger, while also keeping the servers stable and fun for all!
We are shocked at the fact that there are over 240 members daily waiting to get into our servers and have unique experiences on the streets of Altis.
Thank you to all of you whom return every day to get more Altis Action!

Admins are best contacted via the forums, we read them, all of them, daily. The best time to contact us is if there’s a hacker on the server. We’ll respond as fast as we can to assist our players.
[SIZE= 18pt]One Year of ALUK Development[/SIZE]
As of the 12/08/2015 it is exactly one year since Ciaran first started working on our old side project, TakistanLifeUK. Unfortunately we dropped the project not soon after it started in order to focus on Altis Life UK development, and as of the 18/08/2014 we released the 4.0 update, that added in features like the Persistent Vehicle Inventory, and the Casino.
