Expressing my opinions.

Hello everyone. I would like to start saying by i am not making this thread to cause any drama or fight. Its a civil thread based on a situation occured some time ago.

The situation is Maratek getting removed as a Commander and as an Admin. Yes he has done a mistake but we are all humans dont we all do mistakes? He invested almost a year for this community and the police force. And with one mistake he has been suspended. I know what he done was not good but should 1 mistake erase all his good and cause him to be suspended? After all he has done for this community and the police force? We need our commander back. Police force is like a robot. And now our head is missing and they are trying to replace it with 3 heads. And i have a feeling that something big is coming and it will affect the police force and we will need Maratek. If you replace 1 head with 3 heads the robot will eventually start malfunctioning. Im not saying our CSI's are not good or anything. Personally i am a fan of Fuel he always helps me when i am in need. I havent really talked with Neo personally and i have only talked once with Fisher. But i do think CSI's will get divided eventually because they will have different opinions and such. But Maratek wouldnt have such a problem because he was calling the shots. So i think that should be that way. Because he kept police force solid and running for so long. And he was damn good at his job. And after he has gone i always feel that something is not going right. And i still have that feeling. After all he has done everything in his power to make this community good and the police force even better. So in my opinion he should be asked to be the commander again. Because something is feeling really off. I dont know any of you agree with me but this is my opinion almost everyone was being silent about this incident including me. But i dont want to be silent anymore i have been silent long enough. Believe it or not but we need Maratek back. I hope this will get considered again and we can get our commander back.

It's better to have three different opinions than one guy making all the decisions imo, currently I prefer the Police force to what it was when Maratek was in charge but there isn't a massive amount of difference I guess.

At the end of the day people keep painting these 'Popular / well known' guys as saints but at the end of the day it is this simple.

He broke the rules, he got banned. The rules are not bent because of the 'good' someone has done in the past, that are equal too all and should be kept that way. We don't need him back, hes one guy and the force is doing perfectly fine without him and I imagine a new Cmdr may be picked, but if not it doesn't really make much difference.

The admin team wont be making any comments about it except this.... We all love maratek and the work he did however it was mutiple mistakes.. We wouldn't remove someone over 1 mistake.

Thats why we removed him from admin and issued the ban as per the report a player process... ill put this in bold it was maratek's decision to leave the police and step down from commander.

As for being commander again, its upto Maratek to approach the CSI's who will have a meeting they will either accept him back as a commander or find another position (not an admin decision)

You can voice your opinions guys but keep it mature and respectful, this is a very touchy subject and I would like not to see any troll posts or unnecessary arguments.

@Vinc3nt That is your opinion and i respect your opinion mate. However i am not saying because he has done a lots of good stuff for the community and the police rules can be bend for him. I am simply saying that we are all humans , we are here to have fun and every human being can make a mistake.

@Wilco And Wilco an addition to my reply. Why would only CSI's make a decision about this? Dont we have a chance to express our opinions and have a chance to actually pick our commander? After all the commander doesnt affect only CSI's. Its affecting us aswell we are the one who are getting lead. Dont we have a chance to pick our leader?

@ the command will pick the command else it will be a popularity contest and not a 'fit for the job' thingy.

What benefit does this thread even make, why did you have to post this publicly, just going to make drama llama over an old issue :huh:

I simply expressed my opinion. Its not here for benefit. No one is holding you here agaisnt your will youre free to leave this thread. And about saying that you see no difference after Maratek leaving. Either youre new to the police force or the community. Police force was not always like its the way it is today.

As said it would be a popularity contest.

The CSI's would make the decision in what is best for the Police.... TBH who is in charge doesnt and shouldnt (unless your in trouble) really effect anyone below CI/DI

That is quite contradictory, surely if more people had input it would mean the person picked would be picked based on the differing opinions of that person and not just that of 3 or 4 people. Just my opinion but the commander should serve 1 month terms where they can't serve 2 consecutive terms, allow anyone over the rank of PC a vote and ensure the candidate has relevant experience for example over Sgt. Once the term is served they return to their previous role.
