Hey guys,

I am just wondering if this is a good investment. From what I can tell the boats are faster and store more. Can someone explain the purpose of the sub? It seems it would only be viable if you could hook it to a heli or something like that.

It is a awesome vehicle if you have the money. But not really practical, barely has storage space and max speed of 18 km/h.

Sling-loading is disabled so unfortunately no hooking.

 
it's only use is stealth insertions/extractions, where time is not a factor. 

It can hold 20 units (Carry All Backpack gives you 64 on your person)

Travels 18 kph which limits where it's useful (distance wise, Neo to Mitch Island is 10-20min in a sub)

Transports 2 people

Has a periscope with laser designator (no actual use)

Submersible to Periscope Depth

Submersible freely or on the surface

So if you need to land on a coast or a near-by water location with no-one knowing it's great. Otherwise no. Not worth 50k. (actually costs over a mill)

I bought it because I thought it would be really cool.

I continued to cry for the next 4 hours.

 
Same here hatchingdraggon :p . I thought well its expensive so it must be good xD and I was gonna begin my fishing life. Turns out this sub cannot even catch up with a fish xD

 
I think it's a bit ridiculous the amount of money it costs in comparison to it's actual uses. I thought maybe it could be used to drop down to shipwrecks, then load it up and bring it to a chopper/ship....but with that storage....? :/

:( mine only fits 2 ppl, but then it seems to have more cargospace than @Heatproofsean 's mine has 45, i believe.

My main use is sitting in the police HQ in kavala, looking for female officers, through the periscope, the showers are on the second floor, third window from the left. ;)
