The approach to the community is the BEST i've seen so far. READ THIS! (Title amended for peace and love)

Reason i' am writing this is of what happened just now.

Server 2, was deliberately shut down without a warning (while there was over 40 people on it during that. Which caused all the people to loose their stuff, like me, where i've lost a 400k truck i've just bought. I've lost the truck (not in my garage) + money i've paid for it. 

This is ridiculous. Shame on whoever did that.

But that's not all... Admins, instead of having an human approach to someone complaining about how everything is being maintained in a wrong way, they prefer to kick someone from the server (me), without an explanation.

This is a shame for the staff of this server. I've seen this server as the best one i've found so far... the community is the BEST out there, but the Staff taking care of the server, is the worst i've seen in any game i've played online since 2005.

I'll make sure to let all of my friends who played here know, how bad and unfair the service here is.

Well, I just accidentally erased a very long response to your post, but to summarise, the admins here I've noticed tend to have a "act first, not really ask any questions later" approach (with a couple of exceptions), but that's more likely due to frustration from an endless amount of trolls.

However, there are systems in place (compensation requests) where you can request what you've lost, and if it was due to an unannounced shutdown of the server, I can't see it getting rejected.

Listen i kicked you from the server, all you and a UGN member where doing was shouting and complaining. I told you both just to come here and your problems will be dealt with. You continued.... After this i had 7 complaints on TS about you and said UGN member spamming side chat with problems that only consurn you. I took action because my words were falling on blank ears.  Its not the admins job to sort out com request in side. Now  you then go after wilco with a tone of shit over a truck you lost in a game witch can be easily given back to you. That's all i have to say. Your comp request will be looked at in due time.....like the rest of the community. 

If what you said it's true. I'm looking forward to it happening really. Cause what has happened is not acceptable in my point of view.

Do you see my point in side chat? Really i had 7 complaints and lots of people in side saying shh. What you say there affects the game play of the whole server. People don't want to see it.

Of course i was complaining, because what has happened is not acceptable.

You are not enough visible in the side chat with all tat spam going on, so how could i've known youre some kind of authority in there? (same nick name color, just a clan tag in front or whatever - might consider changing that to a more visible format that an admin/moderator is talking). 

Problems didn't concern ME. It concerned over 40 people. I believe i was talking on behalf of them. So additional comments from other people weren't necessary. (At least that's what i would do - if someone already talks/complains about the same problem i had, i wont add additional words to it - I think that's obvious for you.)

Like i've said before. You're not visible enough as an 'operator/admin/whatever'. So in my opinion as a fresh player here, and others i presume, you're being treated as just another player - no authority at all. Try consulting that with your superiors to change that. - just my idea.

Pardon me here. I have no clue who wilco is. So don't blame that on me, i've never mentioned his name, nor called him, nor whatever.

I've filled a comp request immediately. Hoping to have it reviewed.

Vacatio, before you start accusing that guy it was actually me asking for wilco on sidechat, not him, he only said that he lost a truck and money, whereas I was pissed off because shit like that shouldn't be happening, the servers should not be doing stuff like that or being shut down by an admin without warning...you can easily say there was warning but I can asure you there was no warning at all for a shut down so all those 40+ people just lost all their progress they made on that server, even worst yet that server 2 had missed 2 re-starts today which means they are just getting worse, hence why I said I wanted to say to wilco that's why he's losing players for them to join other servers because of stuff like that...

So before you accuse that innocent guy for something didn't do, make sure you have the right person next time...and to tell you as well, people were saying that you should have just comms with me to deal with it on the spot because it would have been dealt with there and then but no you had to kick me cause I was asking to speak to wilco in person or any admin in general because it was not a comp thing I was looking for, more of a serious issue which I could only deal with in person because I was that annoyed !

I gave all of you so meany warnings about this . But its just had no affect 

WELL MAYBE IF WE GOT A WARNING THAT SERVER 2 WAS BEING SHUT DOWN THIS WOULDN'T BE GOING ON BUT NO ADMIN WHO WAS SHUTTING IT DOWN GAVE US WARNING TO SYNC BEFORE DISCONNECTING....is that clear enough for you, no gameplay was effected, the server was just instantly shut down !

In what way? Did i interrupt ANYONE riding their car? Buying their groceries? Oh yeah i did, they were forced to read the leters in the chat, so they couldn't focus on what they were doing.

YOU(Staff) interrupted ME driving MY car, by shutting down the server without a warning, but wait... there's a NO RULE policy for admins right? you can do whatever you want... i am sorry...i forgot about that.

I just wanna point out here since this is going in circles. Next time a server restarts and you forgot to sync every 10 mins or so, please come straight to the forums and fill in a comp request. There's no reason to whine about it in the game. Teamspeak might work if you have the decency of actually respectfully talking about it to an admin - but I would say this is not a good idea in general. 

Simply fill out a comp request and you'll get your stuff back. It's a game anyway, let's keep it calm and respectful. 

I wanna state out that Wilco is the founder of this community and there's only few people who can actually restart the servers - and they're not normal moderators or admins - so no need to blame them for this.

Lets all calm it down here and be friends, shall we?

Firstly, you know this is a game right? all you lost was a bit of time that you can easily waste again....

You've been told to post a compensation request, which you have: 

And if you're not a being Rude and Arrogant to every admin going, you'll be comp'd and its end of story "sorry it happened".... But even tough you've posted this, you're still crying about losing a vehicle... making it out that we're out to get you, and that we don't care...

What we dont care about is 1000's of pointless complaints being sent to admins.

Now, you don't know the circumstances behind the restart....

The server restarts every 4 hours. SOMETIMES SOFTWARE CRASHES, sometimes something happens that there isn't time to ask "permission" to shut it down. (The only people that can do this are Ciaran & Wilco)

I'll also speculate that Server 1 wasn't full and you're on server 2 to make easy drug money, good economy balance you have there...

Please come back when you've finished crying, until then, have some respect for us, and we'll return it.

I have to agree with the staff here, honestly getting your knickers in a twist over a pixel truck in a game is a little over the top, take a step back and take a look at the situation from the outside.

Sometimes as Neo has said, there are issues with the server that cannot be resolved without an immediate restart, perhaps the server was about to come under DDOS attack again, I mean honestly, we just have to deal with it, I understand your pain with the sync'ing issue at the moment (I've lost at least a few mill to it)  you just need to remember to sync regularly until we get the auto sync back, which was removed by the way because the servers were so laggy and so many people complained it was unplayable (which it was).

You're ranting for the sake of ranting, being abusive won't get you any where except maybe banned.

We are a great community because of how we approach things here. Respect is reciprocal and we will treat people how they treat us. Constructive critisism is all well and good but from just reading your posts here all I can see is someone who has taken the wrong approach in game and out to try to resolve his issue. Looks like you were given more than enough warnings before the kick/ban happened.

In some more extreme circumstances we will also remove people who are "drama llamas". In cases like this it is where the person is just here to cause drama through passive aggresive posting or when they are living on the edge of the rules too often they will be community banned.

I can see from your first post here you got answers to your questions from some of the other members of the community. My suggestion to you would be to get more involved in the forums, post your suggestions in a less aggresive way and just chill the fuck out.

Sounds like this is going well out of hand.

This entire thing could have been prevented by the admin shutting down the server simply giving the players a courtesy warning.

"Server shutting down in 15 minutes. Please sync gear and move to Server1"

You have warning messages for the 4 hour restarts, why not for a complete shutdown?

It seems better communication and courtesy is required on the admins part. Perhaps the players could have conducted themselves better after the unannounced shut down, but lets not start blaming the players when the root cause is poor communication from the admin team.

I was in bed when this happened (Having a nice sleep)

To wake up and recieve messages of people swearing at me was more than nice and bans are currently being handed out... its a fucking game for god sake... to start swearing at people will not be tolerated

Now lets move onto the issue of server 2 going offline, I have said again and again before SERVER 2 is a overflow only... after 12am it may be shutdown without warning... Why because people just use it for drug farming without any wish or will to RP or interact with anyone.

To say we are the worst staff in any community since 2005 shows to me you haven't looked at other Altis Life community's out there, The admins here are all doing this voluntary and to even be online at that time which in the UK is way after hours to me shows there commitment.

I have admins on some of my social media networks who are in bed by about 10pm, We also make it very clear we do not offer any support by teamspeak unless theres an issue with teamspeak or a hacker is currently on the server.

I think you need to chill out and have a few beers

Should the admin who was doing this gave warnings ? Maybe... but seeing he was doing it via a mobile phone via remote connection with no way of giving warnings then none can be given..

So from now on server 2 will go offline at 12am no exceptions, I am currently writing that into the automated scheduler (excluding weekends)
