What is the peoples opinions (or rules) on assasinations, hits and bounties?

(by bounty i mean a bounty set by a civ for another civ so they can capture/kill person for a reward.)

I was thinking of being some sort of hired gun. Not just for major operations like bankrobberies or raids, but also smaller things like assassinations and stuff like that.
I think it bids for some fun roleplay, on every side, theres money to be made and there is fun to be had with combat and such.

Of course there has to be rules; its not like i can call a hit on, say, Wilco, and a few seconds later someone kills him and demands a payout. I was thinking two different warnings, one from the employer and one from the hireling, and that there should be either a 5 or a 10 min wait before the hunt starts so the target can get prepared/geared. I think it would be a winwin-winwin-winloss *see chart* situation.

Thats just what i think. Let me hear your opinion!

PS, i couldnt find anything about this in the rules, but if there is, you still have to give me some props for an awesome chart.

The Altis Cartel will do hired hits for you, simple text the person saying you have put a hit on their head and will transfer you the person you wish to have for a fee, if they decide to shoot at us and we kill them, we will give proof of the dead body and will charge lesser of a fee. For capture is 150k, for someone dying is only 50k

An npc where people can deposit money for a hit, then players can accept that job. When a job is accepted the player is warned there is a hit out on them.

Disconnecting counts as a kill with 50% payout . Full bounty is void if the hunted kills the hunter or makes it to server restart the player receives 25% of the payout.

All transactions to be made at the npc.

That would be more practical, however, I feel the player to player interaction would be more fun than a player-NPC interaction.

It all sounds very interesting, but how would that work without metagaming?

It's bad enough as it is with bounty hunters just tasing you without saying a word.

I have thought of a feature for a long time;
Everyones nametags are hidden until they choose to "handshake" otherpeople, thereby revealing their nametag. Of course people like police, bountyhunters and UNMC should have THEIR nametags always showing. Im thinking it would be very cool, and introduce some cool RP scenarios where you have to like gain peoples trust and shit. I dont know how that could be coded in, but yeah, I think it would be really fucking cool, and put an immediate and final end to metagaming.
