the worst part i found was after , when i didnt look after the wound properly and ended up with dry socket, was the worse experience of my life, would never wish it on my worse enemy
@blaze1981 I also got dry socket, worst pain of my life.
And @Samatlewis When a tooth is removed a blood clot if formed to stop bleeding and heal the tooth. If you drink something too hot, too cold, or for instance use a straw that causes suction, it can dislodge or move the clot therefore opening a hole in your former gap, this gap exposes some of the bone near you jaw and becomes painful as another clot can not form, this is called dry socket and takes up to a month to heal. Also it can become infected and smell really bad if not badly looked after.
I guess I'm pretty lucky. I've never once in my life had a hole in my teeth and needed one of them pulled out. I didn't even take that much care of them, but I've started to, since I got my retainers.
@Samatlewis Take 2 paracetomol and 2 ibuprofen. every 4 hours, and no you won't OD and the 2 painkillers are different. Also if it gets too bad go to your dentist as they can fill the clot with a paste almost that acts as a clot.
